These jobs are physical and applicants should be in good physical health. If you are in good health, these positions should not be a problem, but if you have not been physically active for a long time, this job is not for you.

You will be working outdoors and may have to work in adverse weather conditions. Christmas tree sales experience is not necessary. We will train you in all aspects of the job. You should enjoy working with the public. The only thing we ask is a good work ethic and a desire to do a good job.

Our season is short and we count very much on you to help us. Many people will apply for the positions we are advertising for and the selection process is very difficult as most are all good applicants. Commitment is a two way street. If you apply and are accepted for employment we ask you to commit to working through the entire season with us.

In the event a problem arises we expect you to communicate your concerns to us and our commitment to you is we will do everything possible to work the problem out and make your stay as pleasant as possible.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
 
Christmas Tree Lot Manager/Assistant Lot Manager
We need managers and assistant managers to operate our Christmas tree lots, full time, for the season. Examples of typical duties include hiring and directing employees, lot stocking, sales, standing trees, tying trees on cars, book keeping, cashiering, banking and assisting with deliveries. Additional duties include keeping the lot clean at all times, and being alert for unsafe working conditions. We seek couples who have their own living quarters. You will stay on the lot you work at and we will provide electricity, water, and garbage and sewage disposal at no charge. This is a salaried position with starting salary at $5000 per couple. A bonus may be paid depending on the success of your lot and your ability to independently complete your work assignments. A bonus is not guaranteed as the overall success of our operation is important as well. This year we need people from November 21st (for training) to December 23rd. Pumpkin Sales Manager
We have a very limited number of positions for pumpkin lot managers. You are the only employee and therefore must perform all duties on the pumpkin lot. Typical duties are cashiering, sorting and displaying pumpkins and helping customers with their pumpkins when necessary. This is a salaried position with starting salary at $4000 per couple. You will stay on the lot you work at and we will provide electricity, water, and garbage and sewage disposal at no charge. It will be possible for you to stay on the lot after the pumpkin season ends until the Christmas season begins. This year we need people Oct 1st until Oct 31st. Salespeople
We need motivated, customer service oriented people to assist with sales at our Christmas tree lots. Positive, friendly attitudes are a must. Examples of duties are sales, stand installation, watering trees, loading and unloading trucks, tying trees on customer's cars and stocking the lot with fresh trees.
